Belonging to Christ
Interpreting the Bible
“Well, that’s your interpretation.” Many conversations about the Bible stumble at the point of interpretation. We will look at principles and guidelines that have proven helpful through the years.

Proclaiming Christ
Right Here, Right Now: Living Out Our Christian Life Everyday Where We Are
The term “missional” is continually bandied about in our church. WE are either tired of hearing it, or we feel guilty because we don’t think we are living up to the call, or, just maybe, we have no idea how it realistically can work out in our 9-5 workaday world. This study, based on understanding some key Biblical texts, is designed to really help us in this matter. The course will be both inspirational and instructional for those of us who want to be serious Jesus-followers.
Course leader: Dr. James Kraft March 11th to April 22nd

Our H.O.P.E. Church Garden is still growing! |
|
|
|
|
Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor.
— Proverbs 22:9
The “Helping Other People Eat” HOPE Garden is a way for the members of Faith Church to use the land around the Church to grow vegetables for those in need. The lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, peppers, zucchini and other vegetables we grow go directly to feed the needy. Most of the produce has, or will, go to the Christian Caring Center, My Brother’s Keeper and New Visions. These organizations run active programs to help feed the needy of Burlington and Camden counties. Some produce is also dedicated to help individuals within our church family or our immediate community. Students from Memorial School and children from our Small World Nursery are participating in this community mission with us. We also welcome participation from anyone living in the Medford area who wishes to help raise organically grown foods for those in need. If you would like to lend a hand, learn more about gardening, teach children where their food comes from or just help water to make the plants grow – please contact Jack Carman

What God Showed Katie in Uganda and How it Happened
Becoming more in love with God, experiencing the importance of discipline and routine, learning to seek his guidance in everything, learning that if the Lord isn’t in it; it’s not worth doing, learning how to fear the Lord, recognizing the significance of the fact that God is relational, beholding God’s Beauty. All of these are significant facets of growing the in the likeness of Christ, and Katie’s insights through her experience in Uganda will help us all.
