“VISION” exists
to communicate God's love to others, to connect with
fellow Christians, to help grow in faith , to experience
helping others, and to rejoice in the presence of

The month of December will find the youth spending time with the folks at
CITYTEAM MINISTRIES. Our trip to Chester, Pennsylvania has been a favorite
of ours for many years.
"CityTeam Ministries is involved throughout the Delaware Valley in real life
situations with the people that walk through our doors. In the manner of
Jesus Christ, the dedicated and caring staff and volunteers reach out to
those in need of a hot meal, a safe shelter, and decent clothing. We also
offer a recovery program for those men that are on the road of destruction
from drugs and alcohol.
We connect with low-income families that are in need of an emergency food
box to help stretch their income at the end of the month. Mothers with
at-risk young children may stop by every Wednesday afternoon to receive the
essentials of childcare, such as diapers, formula, and other baby items.
Jesus said, 'when you have done it to the least of these, you have done it
to me.'"
Students and families of Faith help celebrate the Christmas season with the
men who are part of the recovery program. We purchase needed gifts for the
men, wrap, and personally bring them to the center. We spend the afternoon
introducing each other, sharing and giving so much more than just our time
and gifts- the real reason for the season- Christ's love for all!
Please ask any of our students that have been to CityTeam in the past and
they are sure to tell you it was the best thing all year! Please pray for
our students and the men of the recovery program. May the redemptive work of
Jesus Christ be evident in their lives!
