THE NEXT HABITAT BUILD DATE WILL BE SATURDAY JUNE 30TH....
Sorry for shouting but for those who attended the first service last Sunday and heard me announce June 23rd. I was wrong.. June 23rd conflicts with another Faith Church event so we are now confirmed for Saturday June 30th. We will probably be working in Burlington again on York Street. Either a punch list for #218 or doing demolition in #301. I will know more and keep you informed as the date gets closer. For those who are not familiar with a Habitat Build Date :
- Food is provided - coffee and donuts at 8:00 a.m. at the designated worksite.
- Sandwiches chips and cookies for lunch.
- Bottled water and soda (and cold coffee if not consumed at 8:00) provided during the work day.
- Tools necessary for whatever work we are doing are provided.
- Wear your oldest clothes - you're gonna get dirty if it's demolition - you're probably gonna get dirty if it's not. Sturdy comfortable footwear recommended.
- The work day usually wraps up around 3:00/3:30 p.m.
